עָלֵינוּ לְשַׁבֵּחַ לַאֲדוֹן הַכּל. לָתֵת גְּדֹֻלָּה לְיוֹצֵר בְּרֵאשִׁית. שֶׁלֹּא עָשָׂנוּ כְּגוֹיֵי הָאֲרָצוֹת. וְלֹא שׂמָנוּ כְּמִשְׁפְּחוֹת הָאֲדָמָה. שֶׁלֹּא שָׂם חֶלְקֵנוּ כָּהֶם וְגוֹרָלֵנוּ כְּכָל הֲמוֹנָם:
(שֶׁהֵם מִשְׁתַּחֲוִים לְהֶבֶל וְרִיק וּמִתְפַּלְלִים אֶל אֵל לֹא יוֹשִׁיעַ:)
וַאֲנַחְנוּ כּוֹרְעִים וּמִשְׁתַּחֲוִים וּמוֹדִים לִפְנֵי מֶלֶךְ מַלְכֵי הַמְּלָכִים הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא: שֶׁהוּא נוֹטֶה שָׁמַיִם וְיוֹסֵד אָרֶץ. וּמוֹשַׁב יְקָרוֹ בַּשָּׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל. וּשְׁכִינַת עֻזּוֹ בְּגָבְהֵי מְרוֹמִים:הוּא אֱלהֵינוּ אֵין עוֹד. אֱמֶת מַלְכֵּנוּ. אֶפֶס זוּלָתוֹ. כַּכָּתוּב בְּתוֹרָתוֹ. וְיָדַעְתָּ הַיּוֹם וַהֲשֵׁבֹתָ אֶל לְבָבֶךָ. כִּי יְיָ הוּא הָאֱלֹהִים בַּשָּׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל וְעַל הָאָרֶץ מִתָּחַת. אֵין עוֹד:
עַל כֵּן נְקַוֶּה לְּךָ יְיָ אֱלהֵינוּ לִרְאות מְהֵרָה בְּתִפְאֶרֶת עֻזֶּךָ. לְהַעֲבִיר גִּלּוּלִים מִן הָאָרֶץ. וְהָאֱלִילִים כָּרות יִכָּרֵתוּן. לְתַקֵּן עולָם בְּמַלְכוּת שַׁדַּי. וְכָל בְּנֵי בָשר יִקְרְאוּ בִשְׁמֶךָ לְהַפְנות אֵלֶיךָ כָּל רִשְׁעֵי אָרֶץ. יַכִּירוּ וְיֵדְעוּ כָּל יושְׁבֵי תֵבֵל. כִּי לְךָ תִּכְרַע כָּל בֶּרֶךְ. תִּשָּׁבַע כָּל לָשׁון. לְפָנֶיךָ יְיָ אֱלהֵינוּ יִכְרְעוּ וְיִפּלוּ. וְלִכְבוד שִׁמְךָ יְקָר יִתֵּנוּ. וִיקַבְּלוּ כֻלָּם אֶת על מַלְכוּתֶךָ. וְתִמְלךְ עֲלֵיהֶם מְהֵרָה לְעולָם וָעֶד. כִּי הַמַּלְכוּת שֶׁלְּךָ הִיא וּלְעולְמֵי עַד תִּמְלךְ בְּכָבוד. כַּכָּתוּב בְּתורָתֶךָ. יְיָ יִמְלךְ לְעולָם וָעֶד:וְנֶאֱמַר. וְהָיָה יְיָ לְמֶלֶךְ עַל כָּל הָאָרֶץ. בַּיּום הַהוּא יִהְיֶה יְיָ אֶחָד וּשְׁמו אֶחָד:
It is our duty to praise the Master of all, to ascribe greatness to the Molder of Creation. For He did not make us like the nations of the lands, and He did not place us like the families of the earth. For He did not set our portion like theirs, nor our lot like all their multitudes.
For they bow to vanity and emptiness and pray to a god that cannot save.
*But we bend our knees, bow and give thanks *before the King over kings of kings, the Holy One, blessed is He — the One Who stretched out the heavens and established the earth. The dwelling place of His honor is in the heavens above, and the Presence of His power is in the lofty heights. He is our God. There is no other. Our King is true; there is none beside Him. As it is written in His Torah: “And you shall know this day and take it to your heart that Hashem, He is the only God in the heavens above and upon the earth below. There is no other.”
Therefore, we put our hope in You, Hashem our God, that we may quickly see the splendor of Your power, to remove abominations from the earth and false gods will be utterly cut off. In order to perfect the world through the kingship of Almighty. And all flesh will call upon Your name, to turn all the earth’s wicked toward You. All the world’s inhabitants will recognize and know that to You every knee should bend, every tongue should swear. Before You, Hashem, our God, they will bend their knee and cast themselves down and give honor to the glory of Your name. They will all accept the yoke of Your kingship and You will reign over them quickly and eternally.
For the kingdom is Yours, and You will reign for all eternity in glory.
As it is written in Your Torah:
Hashem shall reign for all eternity.
(Zechariah 14:9)
And it is said:
“And Hashem will be King
over the whole earth.
In that day, Hashem will be One,
and His name will be One.”
